Hello! I’m Evelyne, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to my two beautiful Chow Chows: Itachi (the handsome black one) and Saori (my stunning red girl). Many people see the Chow Chow’s majestic, serious appearance and assume they’re aloof or difficult. Let me tell you, that couldn’t be further from the truth. They are a genuinely nice, unique, and rewarding breed. They are deeply loyal and protective of their family. Their reserved nature is often mistaken for surliness. They are immensely affectionate with their inner circle. They bond fiercely with their owners and enjoy quiet, respectful attention. They are intelligent and independent. They’re not ‘people-pleasers’ like a Labrador, but they are trainable—you just need patience and respect for their strong will. Think of them as the thoughtful cat of the dog world! Itachi and Saori show me every day that the Chow Chow is a breed of deep affection, calm dignity, and unwavering loyalty. They might not be everyone’s dog, but for those of us who appreciate their unique personalities, they are the absolute best. They simply keep their affection exclusive, and honestly, that makes it all the more special.
