About the Grand Anglo-Francais Blanc et Orange
The Grand Anglo-Français Blanc et Orange is a large French pack scenthound of Anglo-French descent, wearing a white coat marked with orange or lemon patches. Bred by combining English Foxhound blood with native French hounds, it is the rarest of the three Grand Anglo-Français breeds and is used to hunt large game such as roe deer, red deer and hare in cooperative packs. It hunts with great endurance, a fine nose and a resonant, carrying voice. Gentle, sociable and non-quarrelsome, it lives harmoniously among other hounds but is bred purely as a working hunting dog. It demands extensive daily exercise, secure fencing and ideally a genuine hunting outlet rather than a domestic pet role.
Every dog is an individual — genetics, socialization, health, training, and environment matter more than breed averages.

It is the least common of the Grand Anglo-Français group. The FCI recognizes it among the large French scenthounds used in organized pack hunting.
