Sell Puppies Online with PuppyList

List and advertise your puppies to buyers searching by breed and state across the U.S. Simple subscription pricing, moderated listings, and buyers who contact you directly — PuppyList never takes a commission on your sales.

Who PuppyList is for

PuppyList is a listing marketplace for independent breeders with real, currently available puppies. You keep full control of the sale — price, payment, pickup or transport, and paperwork are always arranged directly between you and the buyer.

Step 1

Create your breeder account

Register free with your real name and set up your breeder profile: business name, phone, and location. Buyers see this on every listing.

Step 2

Choose a plan

Pick the subscription that fits your program — monthly or yearly billing. Drafts are free; the subscription unlocks publishing.

Step 3

Publish your listings

Add each puppy with honest photos and complete details. Interested buyers contact you directly — by phone reveal or on-site message.

What to prepare before you list

  • Recent, honest photos of each actual puppy (JPEG, PNG, WebP, and iPhone HEIC all work).
  • Each puppy’s breed, color, gender, date of birth, and price.
  • Your contact phone — buyers reveal it on the listing to reach you.
  • Health records, vaccination status, and any registry paperwork ready to show serious buyers.

Listing quality & moderation

Every listing must describe a real, currently available puppy that you are responsible for — true breed, color, gender, date of birth, price, and location, with photos of the actual puppy. Misleading, duplicate, or bait-and-switch listings are removed, and repeat violations close the account. Reported listings are reviewed by our moderation team. The full standard lives in the Listing Guidelines & Buyer Safety page.

Responsible advertising

Never list a puppy too young to leave its mother, keep listings current (mark puppies sold when they’re gone), and answer buyer questions honestly — responsible breeders expect questions about the parents, the litter, and health history. PuppyList doesn’t certify or endorse breeders; your listings and your program speak for themselves.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to list puppies on PuppyList?

PuppyList uses simple breeder subscriptions billed monthly or yearly — current prices for every plan are shown on this page and at checkout. Your subscription covers publishing listings; PuppyList never takes a commission on your sales.

Does PuppyList take a cut of my puppy sales?

No. The sale happens directly between you and the buyer — price, payment, and handover are yours. PuppyList charges only the subscription.

What do I need before I can publish a listing?

A completed breeder profile (business name, phone, and location) and, per listing: a title, breed, description, color, gender, date of birth, price, location, and at least one current photo of the actual puppy.

How do buyers contact me?

Buyers reveal your phone number on the listing or message you directly through the site. You deal with every buyer directly — PuppyList never stands between you and the buyer.

Are listings reviewed?

Yes. Listings must follow the Listing Guidelines — accurate details and honest, recent photos of the actual puppy. Our moderation team reviews reported listings and removes ones that break the guidelines.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.

Can I save listings as drafts before subscribing?

Yes. You can create a free breeder account, complete your profile, and save listing drafts without a subscription — the subscription unlocks publishing.
